TTD operates, 'Aalaya Darshan' bus
from Govindaraja Choultry every day. This bus trip covers 1) Sri
Govindarajaswamy Temple 2) Sri Kodanda Ramaswamy Temple 3) Kapila
Teertham 4) Srinivasa Mangapuram Temple 5) Sri Padmavathi Temple
at Tiruchanoor and 6) The Regional Science Centre (Monday Holiday)
in three hours. The Aalaya Darshan bus is really a good facility
provided by TTD for pilgrims. Fare just Rs. 20/-. Three trips
a day at 6 a.m., 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Srinivasa Mangapuram is about 10km
from Tirupati and this temple was built by Maharaja of Chandragiri.
All festivals of Tirumala Temple are also celebrated here.
TTD recently introduced one more
package tour covering the following temples around Tirupati: 1)
Sri Venugopalaswamy Temple, Karvetinagaram, 2) Sri Vedanarayanaswamy
Temple, Nagalapuram, 3) Sri
Kalyana Venkateswaraswamy Temple,
Narayanavanam and 4) Sri Padmavathi Temple, Tiruchanoor. The bus
starts from the Second Choultry (behind the Railway Station) at
7 a.m. and returns by 1.20 p.m. every Sunday and Monday. Fare
Rs. 38/-.
The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development
Corporation operates another 'Aalaya Darshan' bus every day with
a different itinerary from Tirupati. This bus covers 1) Chandragiri
Fort (Friday Holiday) 2) Sri Kalahasti, 3) Tiruchanoor 4) Hare
Krishna Mandir S) Srinivasa Mangapuram 6) Kapila Teertham and
a final drop at 7) Sri Govindarajaswamy Temple. Fare Rs. 70/-
per adult. This Bus leaves from the Railway Station every day
at 10 a.m. and returns by 5.30 p.m.
