PLACES OF INTERST AT TIRUMALA

SWAMI PUSHKARIN : This Tank adjacent to the temple, is highly sacred. Pilgrims take bath here before entering the temple. A bath in the holy tank purifies one's body and sould.

AKASA GANGA : This is a waterfall about3 kms to the north of the temple.

PAPAVINASANAM : This is about kms. To the north of the temple.

VAIKUNTHA TIRTHAM : It is at a distance of about 3 kms. North east of the temple.

TUMBURU TIRTHAM : About 16 kms. North of the temple.

GEOLOGICAL ARCH (SILATHORANAM): This rare geological formation is situated at 1 km north of the temple.

T.T. D. GARDENS : The Devasthanams maintains beautiful ornamental gardens with rare with rare species of plants and trees.

ASTHANA MANADAPAM (SADAS HALL): This is the venue for the devotional programmes likes discourses, music concerts, harikathas and bhajans conducted under the auspices of Dharma Prachara Parishad.

SRIVENTESWARA DHYANA MANDIRAM (S.V. MUSEUEM) This building, an architectural beauty, houses a museum, meditation centre and photo gallery.

MEDITATION CENTRES : Devotees can meditate on the Lord and relax his weary minds at the meditation centres located at S.V. Museum and vaibhavotsavamandapam, Tirumala.
