Pilgrims can have a free 'Sarva Darshan' or paid 'Special Darshan (Rs.40/- one free laddu; Rs. 50/- two free laddus per head). On crowded days Sarva Darshan takes 8 to 16 hours. Children upto 11 years of age are allowed free Special Darshan.

'Vaikuntam', a marvellous Queue Complex constructed for Sarva Darshan pilgrims, makes the wait less tedious. The complex has TV, Restaurants, Toilets etc. Special Darshan entrance is near Sr. Varahaswamy Temple. It may take 3 to 8 hours to reach the Sanctum depending on the crowd.

Senior citizens and the disabled are permitted through the 'Mahadwaram', the Main Entrance only once. Enquire near the Mahadwaram for details.

Laddu Padi Scheme
This scheme attracts many pilgrims as it provides a quick Darshan irrespective of the crowd, within two hours. On payment five persons (free entry for children up to 11 years) are allowed special entry through the Vaikuntam Complex and the devotees join the main queue just before the Mahadwaram. Laddus are given after the Darshan or the Laddu Padi ticket.

Laddu Padi tickets are sold at the Vijaya Bank counter from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and from 11.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Darshan under this scheme is allowed up to 6.00 p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays ticket are issued subject to rush. Please refer Page 31 for more details.

Darshan on Friday
Friday being Abhishekam day, all Seva timings are modified Sarvadarshan commences after 9 a.m. Devotees must therefore be prepared for delay in having Darshan on Fridays.


Angapradakshinam
Rolling on the Prakaram of the temple in fulfilment of a vow is Angapradakshinam. Devotees doing Angapradakshinam are allowed entrance through the Special Darshan sheds only at 2.30 a.m. No Darshan is allowed for devotees performing Angapradakshinan on Fridays.
