of luggage free of charge from Alipiri to Tirumala.

Free bus a from Tirupati Railway Station to Alipiri from 4.a.m. to
11 p.m.

Provision of resting places at important points.
Arrangements
for patrol by Security Guards, Gurkhas and the police all along the
road throughout day and night to prevent unwary pilgrims from being
cheated or robbed by unscrupulous elements.

of cool - drinks, Mineral Water etc. at nominal rates
The
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams have introduced "Sudarshanam"
to reduce the waiting time to the pilgrims in the Queue Halls. At the
same time the following facilities are available to the pilgrims so that
their waiting in the Queue Halls is not tedious.
- Hygienic, airy,
large queue halls provided with ceiling fans.
- Catering inside
the halls by Coffee Board.
- Sale of food packets
at reasonable prices.
- Sale of milk supplied
by the Andhara pradesh Dairy Development Corporation.
- First Aid.
- Toilet facilities
even in the queue lines.
- Relay of devotional
programmes, Music through Closed Circuit T.V. Programmes etc.
- Cloakroom facilities
at PAC and near Vaikuntam Queue Complex.
- Facilities to deposit
foot - wear near VQC and Kalyanakatta.
- An officer posted
at the entrance to the temple (Mahadwaram) to prevent malpractice by
details, touts etc. and to receive and attend to complaints.
